We've all seen these scam bait emails for years. These guys turned the tables and took "Prince Joe Eboh" for a long ride. It's a riot but a long read. This may have been circulating awhile but it was new to me this week so I'll put it out there.

I wish I had known about this kind of scambaiting sooner. We got a call (through a TTD operator) looking to place an order for 20 DVD players. They didn't care what model or anything. We had been alerted to the MO a month or so prior by our group (BrandSource), so, we quoted them $299 each! THey quickly gave us some guy's stolen credit card info, so we called the State Cops, who turned it over to the Secret Service, who had jurisdiction. They then decided it was too small a potato, and did nothing. Next time, I'll just screw with the guy!

We pulled that about a year or so ago at work until my boss came in and told me to knock it off and just ignore the 419 spams.... Unfortunately, yesterday I got weak and just gave him the "short version" of the "leave us alone" response....

Let's start the Most Holy Church of Conspicuous Consumption and go after them for awhile... Let's see, who will be the Right Reverend and the Left Reverend?....
