    Here we go:

This LP was released in 1977 and the album cover was pulled about 2-3 weeks after its release.   Subsequent covers contained a black background since most members of this band perished in a terrible,  firiery,  plane crash.   Afterwards,  (2) members formed another band called The Rossington-Collins Band.  The lead singer of this band also had (2) brothers involved in southern rock-n'roll whose names were Johnnie and Donnie.  One of the most famous songs recognized by fans is one entitled "Freebird"

OK,  so I made it simple but this can serve as a model for future challenges.

Correct......those southern rock'n'rollers surely knew how to put on a show (when Ronnie was sober).   Saw them (3) times in the 70's.

....and now on to part deux!  NOT SO EASY

I liked SS, but that first one pronounced was my fave -- something about looking at the cover in a smoky haze listening to Freebird for the first time and not being able to tell if Alen Collins was a girl.  Also Second Helping was the best collection of songs, and that cover of Call Me the Breeze is amazing even now--
Can't remember all the crap that went on as I was listening to the music I can't forget.
