    Name that LP Part II

The debut album for this band first appeared in 1977 also,  w/hits such as "Mind Bender" and "Fantasy Park".   Now this wasn't a WELL-KNOWN band,  and only emerged on the scene for about a year before dissappearing from the limelight.   I believe there was also a movie entitled "Almost Famous" that represents the trials/tribulations of making the big time.  I believe they originated from the SouthEast/South,  but I am not 100% certain.

Wow, Stillwater is a real band?  I thought it was just made up for the movie.  Cool.

Well...well...ok. The sand people catched the robots, and drive... and sell 'em in a garage sale - kinda like a garage sale except they're selling robots. And y'know who's gonna buy R2 and the shiny guy? (the shiny guy always worries), Luke's gonna buy those. And Obie Kanobie, is kind of a teacher, he's teaching Luke how learn how to do his little light-up sword. He has to try to block the little pokey ball. He tried to do it without seeing. Obie Kanobie sometimes moves things around, sometimes he disappears. Princess Leia got out of jail and onto the spaceship and they got the big thing that blowed up stuff, and they blowed it up together. It blowed up Princess Leia's planet. But don't talk back to Darth Vader - he'll getcha. It's an exciting movie.

You own a Corvette too, a C-6???............................................Relax I know what you mean.............The more I play the Yamaha, the more I like it.....It's a different sound than I'm use to................brighter, don't know if that's the right word, more detail on the high end............Not an, OH WOW type of difference, but a cleaner, more crisp upper end.................if that makes any sense.............The Hersey's sound good

Yes,  I had always owned Marantz, JVC, and Sansui integrated units before I "jumped" into the "madness" of separate comps.   Not as full or pleasurable components as the high-end gear such as those Mac's,  but does offer that clean,  detailed,  almost sterile/analytical sound.  I have always perceived myself as a "specifications" freak,  and these particular units are very, very low in distortion.   The M-50 amp is a great match w/similar specs.

I as was told once,   enjoy the "madness"Big Smile

    C6 vette.......I get it!  Sad
