    Name that LP Part III

LP #3 consists of songs performed by basically studio musicians featuring such artists as Jeff Porcaro and David Paich from "TOTO".    This I believe was his debut and perhaps only album.   I do not believe any of his recordings ever made it into the TOP 40,  but still some good music for those who may know of WHOM I speak.    Album was released in 1976.

Jacksonbart,  I take it that was a futile attempt at a GUESS?Big Smile

Comon'  Old Buckster,  I've almost given you the answer,  but if your stumped,  I'll post up the link next Monday.

WRONG!  The album is "untitled" and same as the artists name.   CLUE #1   His initials are L.D.,  and he also played guitar as a supporting studio musician on several albums.  If you cross-reference, you'll find he recorded albums w/Steve Miller, Stevie Nicks,  Boz Scaggs, the Allman Bros,  Dave Mason,  and Cher.   Having searched the WEB,  this was his first album of many.   WOW,  I didn't realize he put that much out,  so I suppose this exercise (trivia game) is actually boosting my knowledge also.

CLUE #2 will contain songs from this LP

That's Les Dudek -- played with Allman Brothers at some point --

Had some other good albums, too, but none ever caught fire--

Can't remember all the crap that went on as I was listening to the music I can't forget.

He did an OK album with Mike Finnegan and Jim Krueger where they called themselves the DFK band. Ibought that around 1980 I believe and it got a lot of play time on my table.
