This is my first time posting to the forum, but I couldn't find another post on this already. I've had my KSW-12 sub for a few years, recently it blew the fuse. When I pulled the fuse out I discovered that the fuse was stuck in the grey plastic holder/cap. In the process of trying to separate the fuse from the grey holder/cap the fuse broke. So I ordered a new fuse cap from Klipsch service, but when the part arrived it seems that they have changed the design and the part was both the fuse holder, the cap and a couple of rubber "O" rings/gaskets. I removed the screws along the perimeter of the back panel (where all the connections are) on the sub and several of the smaller screws but the panel will not come lose. I then tried to remove the two screws that look like they have a washer of some sort, but they won't back out and I still can't get the panel off to change the fuse holder. My questions are:
- has anyone removed the back panel on their sub and can give me some pointers on what I am missing?
- has anyone else replaced their fuse holder before and have any tips?
Thanks in advanced.
