New Klipsch Speakers and McIntosh Turntable at CEDIA

Not sure if you folks have seen this yet but thought I would share the link.  Speakers look beautiful and would love to hear them.  Not sure about the TT as it looks too much like a tuner/amp/preamp but it will match other new style components

Can't find the dimensions but here is a link to the Press Release that came out in August.  They list at 15 K a pair.

I'd guess somewhere around 4.5 feet.  I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Jim Garrett is going to try to get some pics that he took at IFA posted soon, and I took one today that I will post in my blog shortly...  Smile

And of course we'll have more professional shots to come soon.

They are 55.5" high, 12" wide in the front, and 26" deep (approx).

I'm 5' 11", I guess the Palladium would stand even with the top of my shoulders if I was standing next to it -- bigger than I thought it was. The depth spec is surprising too -- a couple of inches deeper than the Jubilee.

    Nice cone and dome sound

I just posted a side view in my blog so you can get a better idea of it's shape (sorry about the grainy pic, it was a little dark in the room)

That Mcintosh turntable has to be the strangest/oddest deck I've ever seen. It looks like someone just plopped a turntable on top of a MC-2105.

Yea, it's pretty ugly. And of course every turntable should have a big blue meter on it's faceplate. Total cheese. Maybe it's just something they were doing for fun and laughs at the show.

Thanks for the info Amy and will check your blog shortly.

There has been much discussion (most negative to the McIntosh TT) but I heard that dealers were placing orders!  At a 7K price point, I believe there are many competitors that can meet or exceed it although it may sound wonderful!  The looks just don't work and what is the meter actually showing?

    Just my .02

OH NO!! I DO have room for them....if I get rid of my two RF-7s, come up with a way to raise about $13,000 and THEN....somehow convince Verna that we need these!

So NEAR, yet so FAR! Crying   And while I'm at it, I also noticed the new Pioneer Elite Flaship receiver that is due out in January: The new SC-09TX which has 10 channels of Class D power amp with 200 Watts/Channel x 10 (I don't know at what load, hopefully 8 Ohms) a front-mounted LCD Video screen for both menus and previewing video and for only $7,000! Yeah, like we can afford this too!    ....more crying..... Crying  -Glenn

Is it me, or is equipment overall becoming a bit more upscaled than in years past?

Picky, I feel your pain.  The first images of the B&K Ref 707 series has begun to leak to the net, and I wish I could consider upgrades. Sad
