    Heresy II or KG3?

I'm new to the forum & new to Klipsch.  I'm putting a small system together for my office- a McIntosh MX110 tube tuner/preamp & a McIntosh MC275 tube amp.  For about the same price I could buy either a pair of Heresy II's or KG3's.  Unfortunately I can't do a side-by-side comparison.  I notice on paper the KG3's have wider frequency response, but they seem to be less valued on the used market.  How do the speakers compare?  Thanks!

I love my kg3s, but you have to go H2 in my opinion. Different class.

H2's hands down winner ..................KG3..2 way .........H2's 3 ways ....... H2's have more musical output (play at a louder volume)

Welcome to the forum. I spent a lot of time researching this valuable forum for comparisons of the Heresy-KG2-KG3. The consensus was those Kg's sound really nice but the Heresy was the clear winner. That convinced me plus I wanted to own the speaker some say kept the company afloat in the early years. I bought Heresy 2's last week for my office & couldn't be happier.

It’s a shame you can’t compare the two because that’s exactly what you should do if you want to be sure.  You know, eyes closed and then back and forth between different but familiar music.  Having said that; with your amp & pre-amp, I might prefer the Heritage Line here.
82 Curley Maple Cornwalls, 83 Walnut Oiled Cornwalls, an older Cornwall Vert, 92 Walnut Oiled Forte IIs and a couple pair of those Heresy things!
