These posters that came out for dealer use in the 1970s are very rare these days. However, the two that I am offreing for sale are extremely rare in that Paul W Klipsch had personally signed them back in the '80s. They are in excellent condition with only minor damage to the right hand edge that would be trimmed or covered when framed. Paul signed six of these posters for me when I was the Australian distributor for Klipsch products (1975-1992). I had framed two which I have left with friends in Australia for safe keeping. Prior to Paul's passing in 2002 I had sold two of the four that I brought with me when I moved to Arkansas and now there are only these two left and I am offering these to Klipsch fanatics to treasure.

Please contact me to discuss you level of interest. Ian Thacker. thackmate@yahoo.com.au They are located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Value of circa '96 KP-301's?

I have a pair of good condition 301's that I need to sell. I am not sure if they are 301 II's, but I'm almost positive they are not IIA's. Right now, I don't have them sitting in front of me to check. They have the 1/4" connector, not the speakon connector, and they were built in October or November of '96. They are in great shape. Anybody have thoughts on value? I searched the forums, and found references to buying and selling, but no prices. I will probably list them on the garage sale in a few days, but I am giving a guy locally first right of refusal.

Thanks!
Shep

KP-600 History

I've been looking for information on the KP-600's. Should I be running several small subs( say 4x 12" or 15") or should I head towards a couple of big subs(like two 18")?

I've even seen some 21" subs about two! Although they seem pretty impractical transport wise an seem to be a bit of a show piece for most who have them( 15" or 18" subs I've used have given plenty enough bass).

The music the stereo is used for is often a low beat an bass with tempo's ranging from 100 bpm to 150 bpm, with anywhere from 1 to 4 bass pulses between each beat.

Any info appreciated

LSI photos

Seeing as how I'm currently proud owner of 3 pairs of LSI speakers, I thought I'd go through them and post some photos.

Here's the inventory- LSI-BG splits purchased from Detroit eBay. One of my first Klipsch purchases in the collection, I visited Picky (my first Forum visit) while in Detroit. These are staying!

LSI- al trim pebble paint splitmodels - these were purchased off eBay also and were near Dtels. Although I'd never met them I knew they were very cool and they were kind enough to pick them up for me and audition them for a few months in their home. Later a friend of mine was doing a vehicle pickup for his work so he went down and collected them for me. They've been part of a double stack- impressive but rarely used set in my garage/shop. Since they're really no longer needed I've agreed to sell them to longtime Forum beggar RPlace. JK, but he's been persistant in letting me know that when I'm ready to sell.... So they're going away on Monday (tears up a bit). Photos here are mainly so he has something to drool on for the next week.

Another set of one piece LSI-BG was purchased last week from a guy who is tour manager for Aerosmith, Moody Blues, and others. He lives all the way in Greenfield IN about 30 minutes away. These have received tweeters with new diaphragms, a pair of matched (yes I tested them) K55V, and had everything checked out. One of these had been painted flat black as they had been in a Las Vegas club previously. So I"m slowly getting them cleaned up and ready for SALE. $750 takes these beauties home!

KP-456HF & KP450LF opinions

Found a set for sale. Any suggestions for a suitable replacement for the K-48 for a KP-115 ? I just bought a set of (what I thought) were KP-115's , but the drivers are swapped with eminence drivers (no labels, markings, so hard to tell what type they are). http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/kp-115-specifications/

I've checked with Klipsch technical support : they tell me they no longer have them, I've checked with Bob Crites, he doesn't know of a replacement, Thiele Small parameters are chinese to me, so this post is kind of my last resort ...

Thanks in advance for any insight you can give.

regards, Ronald

I'm travelling to the U.S. in a month (19-11-09) and travelling from New York to Chicago to Memphis to El Paso and then finally to L.A.

I'm travelling through Hope Arkansas and hope to get a stop over there, are Klipsch systems common locally or are they more dispersed? I know they made white kp-362's for churches but i'm not sure how many.......

I'm looking for a k-48-kp 15inch sub and a k-792-kp tractrix horn. Those are the codes off the Klipsch info spreadsheet I was given, not sure if they're are used or known under something else or if something with a different name may be the same specs just different year etc. I have some very similar speakers with horns but a 12 inch sub an they're hi-fi/house speakers. Horns look almost the same as k-792-kp but much less power handling..

I'm wondering how popular(and common) the kp-362's are and hoping to pick something up towards the end of my journey so i can throw my clothes out of my case an put them through checked baggage. Does anyone know of any hi-fi/ public address system shops in the Santa Monica area? I know there are a lot of car/ odds an ends lots over there an am hoping to find a similiar shop for stereos and stumble accross the parts i need!

Any ideas would be a great help

Cheers

replacement drivers

HGood day.....

i am looking for a replacement driver for an old Stage monitor model number is: K-59K

Anyone?

Help me biamp my KP302-B-BR please

I am ready to biamp my Klipsch!

QSC CX1202V for the low frequencies

Rotel RA870-BX integrated for the mids, highs and sources.

I believe that the crossovers are designed for this. They were toured through the southwest by a R&B outfit and ended up in the hands of their drummer. His wife wanted them out of the garage.

One of the standard (double 15) bass bins fits exactly in the back of a truck bed and we managed to get the rest in the trailer. The 5x8 size is necessary in order to get the 44" wide MWM in the doorway. There is not room for two MWM's so one must travel elsewhere.

This set has been sold to a Forum member and I have promised good operating condition with new K43 woofers installed. This thread chronicles some details of the MCM stack inspection and refurbishing process.

Here we are with the traditional handshake before moving out with the load.

Vintage sub assistance

I have a pair of KP 250s? which I think are pro model Heresy speakers. Klipsch made a complimentary set of subs, maybe KP115s? I passed on a set a couple of years ago and have regretted it since. Can anyone give me a clue at to the correct model number for these subs...or know where a set can be purchased?

k-48-kp 15inch sub & k-792-kp tractrix horn needed

Hey i'm looking for parts for some kp-362s, a k-48-kp 15inch sub and a k-792-kp tractrix horn.

They'd be going to a good home!

Any info please get in touch

Juxta

KP-362

Hey i'm looking for parts for some kp-362 3 ways, one hi range horn and 1 15 inch bass driver. Please see above photos, xander etc.

Any info on spares or good replacements much appreciated

juxta

Does anyone know anything about Klipsch Pros?

I'm looking for parts for some 400 w 3- way speakers, a horn an a sub, anyone know where i can get parts?
