Ok Ok I know it has only been a tad over 24 hours, but I've got to say, "The Thing ROCKS!" It just keeps getting better. It is dead quiet. The detail is uncanny, like crystal, every nuance of the music. It is open and airy with spot on imaging. It has taken my rig to the next level and beyond. I am so very happy. Thank you Mark, you are awesome.

When it comes to turntable isolation overkill is good. Then you can turn that bass up all you want, shake the house, but not the table. I love it.

The entire rig sits on a isolation sandbox. The turntable sits on a 1/2" piece of glass that is sitting on 25 pounds of glass beads (like used in bead blasting). The box is sitting on 5 Daruma Isolation Bearings. Finally all this sits on a 210 pound piece of marble. Yes, it is overkill but I figured it wouldn't hurt.

The table is a Clearaudio Champion II fitted with an SME 309 arm and a Benz Micro High Output glider cart. The belt has never been replaced, so I don't know how long it will last.

That whole double lucite affair seems to be sitting on some kind of additional isolation platform at the bottom. Maybe there are racquet balls underneath in there somewhere. I just don't know. Would it be possible to gold plate my racquet balls?

I think because some people chose not to install them early on? Most of the pix people have sent me, did not have them installed.

Yeah! Looks great. What a coincidence about the blue lights, eh? I can't wait to see your "Lutherized" version of it. Should be fun. That's by a mile the best Tercel installation I have seen!
