I bought it new last year for ~$900 and I like it alot.&amp;nbsp; It&amp;#39;s made in Japan, weigh&amp;#39;s 54 pounds, has a massive torroidal transformer, seperate transformers for audio and video processing too.&amp;nbsp; The replacement to it is the TX-NR906, but it is made in Malaysia now.&amp;nbsp; The TX-NR805 is a great receiver too, much better than the replacement 806.&amp;nbsp; The TX-NR875 is also a great receiver for the price if you get an ecost deal for ~$600.&amp;nbsp; set up i have RF62 for mains and a RC62 center with a RW10d for a sub&amp;nbsp; the rear surrounds&amp;nbsp;are some old kenwood bookshelfs i would like to keep it 5.1&amp;nbsp; i have this setup in a large basement as my HT room&amp;nbsp; the reason i would like to upgrade is i just think it could be louder dont get me wrong&amp;nbsp;it sounds great i dont think that the reciever i have now pushes these to their full potential&amp;nbsp;
