I have always been a fan of straight axix horns for a more "direct" sound. I have a 12" driver in my Peavey MB-1 CD horn, which goes from 150 to 1 Khz and it sounds great. Your having a horn that goes one octave lower makes sense since you can probably derive more detail than I can with my MWMs or Peavey/LaScals folded bins at those frequencies , and go straight to a sub with no other woofer section in between. . I am wondering why you needed TWO drivers for this. Woudn't one do the job? or is this the result of computer modeling, puttin the top horns up higher, or just lower distortion at higher levels. Hope to hear this someday, Mr. Funk Brutha from a different Mutha.

I had the pleasure of hearing one channel of that setup without a sub and with Gotover's horn on it instead of the MCM HF section. I thought it looked and sounded professional. Very impressive. I'm hoping to hear this latest version sometime soon. I can only imagine how this sounds. JWC never does anything half way.

JC, all you need now is a "Super Spud" DTS-10 Kit sub from Danley to get you down to 15 Hz. Then, you can get rid of those pesky little subs you have now.

BTW, how are you crossing this over? Do you have time alignement for the Tweeter??

How do they sound?

We always seem to hear that tractrix horns are too short for proper loading of bass frequencies or something.

Where are they crossed over?

I firmly believe that black and unfinished are the only proper colors for speakers. Anything else is trying to hide an inherant ugliness....yes, I find all speakers to be quite ugly

Nicely done! It looks like it was molded as a single piece. A pair of all-white speakers might look good, especially in front of a white wall. Who had this speaker?

I have a pair of the horns, courtesy of jwc, but they are still black. They probably won't stay that way, though.

Those look like the speakers in our church. That's where you can find the white ones.
