It is a very sweet amp indeed. I purchased it recently and the seller claimed he has had it serviced. I had a brief look under the hood and noticed some updated caps but also some that probably are past due for upgrade. It is in fine shape, and sounds very nice, but is also a very good candidate for a NOSValves update.

I picked up this amp locally off Craigslist; at the same time I was chasing this one, a Mac MC250 came available, also local. After a weird set of circumstances, a couple of weeks later I owned both amps. I really wanted the Mac more than this one, and I still do. Therefore, I am considering letting this one go. Can someone tell me what the S-C might be worth?

BTW, the one in the pics above is not mine; as you probably know from the web site you visited.

I've been on the hunt for one of those, or its' big brothers, ever since I spotted the Made in Rochester site.

The attached file is a DejaVU format, which can be opened with the excellent Irfanview graphics viewer. Its' a 1961 catalog and lists the specs of your 333.

They are real sleepers. A great little el84 amplifier.

I thought mine sounded better than my Piolt 245A that should give you an indication of just how good these SC's are.

S-C ASR-333, uses EL-84 / 6BQ5 in push pull for 15-20 WPC. Not sure of the year made. I think this amp is very similar to same vintage Scott; maybe the 222?
