i have been searching the web for available info on the palladium and have seen the price listed as 15,000 and 20,000

can anyone comment on what they paid when they purchased

or what they cost now !

i actually just stumbeled on this stuff while 'bing' ing palladium p-39f.

mr.thump has presented some great insight into what makes the palladium tick.

so far i have only read a couple of his blog notes...

I have khorn and la scala, both replaced with pure silver interconnects, ALK crossover and TAD ET-703 Tweeter, and with subwoofers.

I'd like to know if P-39F is better than this setup.

Does anyone know where to see this P-39F in Taiwan?

Good evening, What a great day to be a Klipsch owner! My ears are not worthy of what i heard today. I can't really describe into words the sound I experienced, it is absolutely breathtaking. I heard things in my music I never heard before. Still waiting on the second sub, but the RSW-12 held its own. Next week the McIntosh gear will arrive, and I can't hardly wait for those. I'll post pics and more of a critique later. Great job to all at Klipsch for developing such a work of art and sound! Worth every red cent, IMHO. More later. Shine On!..............Scott

It's been such a long time since I've posted, but since I just shelled out the $ for the new line-up I was wondering if Amy might put a dedicated forum heading for tdiscussion about the new Palladium line. Would love to have a dedicate area for just these, seeing that they are the most impressive (imho) thing Klipsch has done in a while, shouldn't they have there own area in the forums?

Let me start from unboxing,these arrived via fedex and let me say that the packaging is very well done.After opening up the thick boxes I was greeted to a very secure speaker enclosed in it's own white cotton bag and containing a pair of cotton gloves (nice touch).The fit and finish on these are second to none the wood is gorgeous and the five way binding posts are huge,very nicely done. Now after I slid my beloved RF-7's over I placed the PALLADIUMS on 24 inch stands and pluged them in using bannana plugs to my Sunfire 425x5 amp. Putting in Russell Watson I sat back and began turning up the volume,what happened next I was not expecting the PALLADIUMS filled the room with the most encredible sound and smoothest midrange I have ever heard the soundstage was huge and the bass was not what I was ready for,the high frequency detail was not as forward as the RF-7's (I don't know many that are).After listening to various music from Nora Jones to Pink Floyd I am convinced that for 2 channel listening the PALLADIUMS have few peers however for movie whatching I found the didn't have near the impact of the RF-7's (nor did I expect them to).I also found that setting the crossover point at 100hrz gave me the best sound with my earthquake subs bringing up the low end.With all that being said I am so impressed with these speakers I will be using them for seperate two channel listening only, they are truly the smoothest most lifelike speakers I have ever heard and truly are worth the money. Thank you Klipsch for the opportunity to expand my listening pleasure.

Those who follow my work (http://www.klipschcorner.com/BlogDetail.aspx?guid=49d2af0f-fbea-425d-8840-b44d3b632e56) know that I've been a vocal fan of the Palladium series since the beginning. I've recently decided that my kids don't really need to go to college; I've ordered up the Palladium P-39F in the Merlot finish and I was told to expect delivery "mid May". I will only have the Front L/R until the center is available in June, and the rest of the system will have to wait till next year for me, these ain't cheap.

I expect it will be quite a long time before these are commonly available to listen to around the country, so in keeping with my Demo Network philosophy (http://www.klipschcorner.com/DemoNetwork.aspx) I'm inviting Klipschers over to my place to hear the P-39F at the end of May. This should be taken as Tenative since ship dates are not in stone, but I am thinking either May 31st (Saturday) or June 1st (Sunday).

I realize my Aragon, Denon, and Integra gear may not be considered Up to Snuff by the solid state and digital hating crowd. So, while you people are nutjobs, I'm willing to go a step furthur: I'll clean up my racks (I've got space: http://www.klipschcorner.com/Image.aspx?path=images/Profiles/Profile1_3.jpg) and encourage anyone who's interested in coming to bring any tube amps, pre-amps, or transports that might be interesting to audition the P-39F on. If ole Boomac is around I'll try to get him to bring some of his NOS/BAT gear regardless.

I plan on cross-posting this, but I'll be checking the thread in 2ch most often.

I couldn't quite see everything in the rack and wondered if the lab is using a Mac CDP in the process. Another source?

specifically on how I can come up with the $15,000 to buy these beauties. It is interesting to note

the design of the cabinets and the decision to go with the catenaries curve design a la the Sonus Faber,

Usher etc.
