Klipsch snubbed?

I realize the following list is kind of old (nov.2002) so it may or may not have been posted here before but I found it absurd that there are no Klipsch designs in Stereophiles top 100 audio products...

Sometimes it is because they did not get the info, Someone at Stereophile missplaced it..(These are often put together with interns...LOL) or nothing at that time was "new" per say at Klipsch to list?

Stereophile sells ads. And those adds list new technologies and designs. But we also know it doesn't ALWAYS mean "new" is better.. LOL

Let's see what the 2008 issue sais...

(Gonna be really hard to knock the Palladiums... They are awesome!)

Dedicated 17' x 30' room, 106" Daylite screen, with the Infocus 7210 DLP Projector. Sunfire Theater Grand IV, Sunfire Signature series 200 x 7 amp. SONY 550 BluRay DVD player. It's Klipsch Nirvana, for me. The ticket booth is open, and the popcorn machine works, So dim the lights, on with the show!!

I believe last year the LaScala was added to their "Class A" list.

Can you possibly take seriously a list that starts with Polk speaker cables and also includes Monster cables but leaves off the Klipschorn or La Scala? At least they left Bose off the list.

Is the revamped Klipschorn review still on the way?

First off, I don't even consider myself a member of the general public. I know that my own requirements in a loudspeaker are those I've discussed. Judging from what contact I have with the general public, though, I conclude that 99 percent of the general public doesn't even know what accuracy of reproduction is. My company is for the one percent composed of perfectionists who buy these expensive speakers.

The La Scala II made the Class A list again this year.

And they will stay on the class A list as long as Sam Tellig owns a pair. You know he bought his demo pair after his review of them last year Wink

I treat the 500 components issue like this, if any of Klipsch Heritage or BAT gear is in the class A rankings I consider all of Klipsch Heritage and BAT to be class A. Now if you think like Stereophile 99% of the time their class A components must register at least 5G's on the retail sale Surprise

I liked seeing one of Ray Samuels pre amps on the A list. I use one of his portable iPod amps and the man knows his stuff not unlike a few FRUIT VALVES around this place Big Smile
