    CL: Forte II $300

No affiliation.  I emailed the guy about this CL ad to see what model and price of the Klipsch speakers.  His response is listed below:

"They are Forte' II, originally about $600 each.  We are asking $300 for the pair.  They are oak oil finish, in great condition, working well, 35 1/2" (h), 16 1/2" (w), and 12" (d).  There are several people interested, but I will not sell them until tomorrow.  Come by 8 if you are interested.  thanks for your interest"

The RSS feed helps me keep track.  Did those other speakers work out for you?

Going to have to educate myself about RSS, chances in the past but sounds like working for you.

The preferred deal we spoke earlier this week about that I was 3rd, I will e-mail but hold no hope for. The 2nd deal for my bud(?), still planning on this weekend. Meanwhile another 1 popped back (new)my way with an e-mail. Meanwhile ForteII for $300. pretty hard to beat, not shipped anyway. Maybe someone will jump on it quick.

Very easy with Firefox web browser.

    1.  Go to a section in CL (ex. Orlando, Florida
    2.  Search for Klipsch
    3.  Click on the RSS link at the bottom right side of the page.
    4.  Save it in the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder

To view the RSS feed, click on the Bookmarks link at the top of Firefox, mouseover the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder and you will see your RSS feeds that you have saved to the right of it.  I have several RSS feeds setup.

Thanks *Youthman, The way you show, makes it look easy, but no Firefox on my machine, but I will look into it! Will it work with Windows Pro 2000? Probably not,LOL!

    Thanks again!

Dunno, download it at www.firefox.com and give it a try. I ditched Internet Explorer a LONG time ago and have never looked back.  Much faster browser and less likely to be hacked compared to IE.

Glad to hear it! Have limited room left in my bay, didn't want to have excess ballast/cargo! That was quick Herr Dr.

Youthman; Not these, Fender dropped off Thumper's until Nomad's schedule lets up and he gets a day off. I just opted for a "minty" Revox B77 and that's the end of any speakers for me for a while!!!

Ok.  Well someone picked them up.  The guy said they were one of the first things to go that morning.  I wasn't interested in them...just thought someone else might be looking for a pair.
