Rj is right. Patience is the key, especially in this economy. Gear is selling much slower than it used to, unless it is at a rediculously reduced price. I've heard it said that in real estate, there is only one way to have a "Quick Sale"....it's called cheap. If you can afford to be patient, it will pay off. It took several weeks, maybe a month to sell my previous Velodyne and I only had to reduce it by $50 over the period of the month.
It's totally a buyer's market right now so if you are a seller, and you want to get a descent price for your gear, patience will likely have to be part of the equation.
As far as other forums, try audiogon.com and craiglist.com. Audiogon charges to post items, CL does not. Audiogon has more audiophiles, CL has more common folk. Of course, there is always Fleebay if you want to go that route.
Good luck.
