    Re: F.S. Pair of RB-81s for $600

Finally got some pics up! You'll have to excuse the poor camera work, haven't used one in a while. I tried to get all the angles, let me know if there are any you want. Enjoy! :)

Agreed.  Your Canon Powershot camera takes nice photos.  Good luck with your sell.

Perhaps I was asking too much? Reduced the priced down to $500. Hope someone bites soon! Any recommendations on a different forum I should try selling if I am fruitless here?

In my limited selling experience I've found that patience is useful :) I was trying to sell my KSB 3.1s for a few weeks on craigslist, no interest. I ended up agreeing to sell them to a non-local person at a cheaper price, and then 3 people emailed me about the craigslist ad!

    Re: F.S. Pair of RB-81s for $600

Rj is right.  Patience is the key, especially in this economy.  Gear is selling much slower than it used to, unless it is at a rediculously reduced price.  I've heard it said that in real estate, there is only one way to have a "Quick Sale"....it's called cheap.  If you can afford to be patient, it will pay off.  It took several weeks, maybe a month to sell my previous Velodyne and I only had to reduce it by $50 over the period of the month.

It's totally a buyer's market right now so if you are a seller, and you want to get a descent price for your gear, patience will likely have to be part of the equation.

As far as other forums, try audiogon.com and craiglist.com.  Audiogon charges to post items, CL does not.  Audiogon has more audiophiles, CL has more common folk.  Of course, there is always Fleebay if you want to go that route.

    Good luck.

    Re: F.S. Pair of RB-81s for $600

Just some gee wiz-- I sold a brand new pair for over $500.00 about 8 months or so ago, patience should pay off.  The RB-81s are definately an improvement over the RB-35 and RB-5 IMO.

    Re: F.S. Pair of RB-81s for $600

IMHO 500 is the correct number. I have a pair that I tried to sell for 550. I got only lowball offers. I lowered them to 500 and got plenty of takers but shipping was an issue. I finally decided to keep mine for a 2nd system. killer speaker. Good luck with the sale. Should be no  problem.

Add your location to your signature or ad. That might entice a local pick up. Sorry if I missed it.
