    Hey etc6849----

Guess you got an even better deal then I did at Ultimate--you're right about the 83's but for the money.........unfortunately Ultimate did'nt have the 83's on a comparative sale nor do they ever.....wahhhh! But I am very happy with the 82's. Wish I had the room for the rc-64 but it is just too huge to put on a shelf above my screen and below is not an option.

He's right.  The general rule is, if you can easily afford the speakers, they're not big enough.

I like the way you think, I agree ! Idea

I agree with everyone else who agrees. Get the bigest, baddest fronts you can almost afford. You won't regret it. I wish I would have.

    RF62's, RC62, RSX5's,eD A3 300 subwoofer, Yamaha RX V633, Emotiva XPA 3. ProMedia 2.1. Still building..........Larry

Go the RF-63's for sure.  They're significantly better than the RF-82, particularly the build quality.  The 63's are certainly next on my agenda (I currently have the RF-35's).

    RF-35, RC-64, RS-35, RW-12d
    Yamaha RX-V1800

    Rotel RMB100 (x2)
