I take it both the RF-7 and RF-5 are made in Hope?

The RF-5 page says made in Hope, but the RF-7 page doesn't.

Does this mean that my rf-83 were a failed attempt at a better model? And then the Palladiums were failed attempt since the rf-83 were the base concept of the palladiums.

J,as you know I had the 83's,there is no way they failed at anything. The 83's are absolutely a fantastic speaker, the only difference was a close personal choice.Enjoy.

     Jay Jay Jay,

I heard the 7 and 83 side by side and to my ears the 83 was a better behaved model. Close, but better.

Those are very pretty.  I like the colors.  I want new cabinets, and I'll just put the old guts inside. Smile

Well...well...ok. The sand people catched the robots, and drive... and sell 'em in a garage sale - kinda like a garage sale except they're selling robots. And y'know who's gonna buy R2 and the shiny guy? (the shiny guy always worries), Luke's gonna buy those. And Obie Kanobie, is kind of a teacher, he's teaching Luke how learn how to do his little light-up sword. He has to try to block the little pokey ball. He tried to do it without seeing. Obie Kanobie sometimes moves things around, sometimes he disappears. Princess Leia got out of jail and onto the spaceship and they got the big thing that blowed up stuff, and they blowed it up together. It blowed up Princess Leia's planet. But don't talk back to Darth Vader - he'll getcha. It's an exciting movie.

PLEASE bring back the RC-7. There are still lots of posts on the forums of people trying to find a good quality RC-7 since they are so hard to find. I bought my cherry RF-7s 2 years ago and still have yet to find a cherry RC-7 for sale that is in good condition. With the reintroduction of the RF-5s and RF-7s there will be even more demand for those RC-7s.

    2x Cherry Klipsch RF-7s (mains)
    2x Cherry Klipsch RB-75s (surrounds)
    AV123 MFW-15 (subwoofer)
    Denon AVR-4308ci (receiver)
Crown XLS 802 (amp, currently not in use)

Very nice looking with the new wood face.

I hooked my brother up with a good deal on a pair of RF7's.  I do not think that he appreciates them.  He had one facing the listeing position and one facing 90 degrees (to the left).  I gave him a hard time and he finally move the other one.  After he said that he cannot hear a difference.  I don't think that he has ever sat down and actually listened to them.  Oh well.
