    Colter's Attic- SUB guys!

For your consideration- TWO minty fresh (read: new) 15" Klipsch poly subwoofers as used in the Klipsch KSP400 towers model K1060K. These are given 200 watts RMS in that cabinet and go down to 27 Hz in that cabinet design.  Each measures DCR of 3.6-4.1 ohms and comes complete with loose thick ring gasket (so you can mount from either side). Just the thing for you sub experimenters out there. Use the dimensions from the KSP cabinet or run it through the computer and come up with your own design.I have no recollection how I got these, must have been some project planned eons ago.

I'll have a plate amp for sale separately or get one from Parts Express.

How's $50 each grab you? And yes, I'll double box and ship if you'd like.

here's another one, just like the other one.

no ding or dents, no abrasions or signs of mounting. Still in factory boxes.

KSP400, I'm not familiar with that speaker.  What's the box like, in general terms?  Vented?

Tom, the KSP400 is the Synergy powered tower. Tweeter, dual 6.5 mid bass, then the 15" side firing with amp in the back. Without knowing where the subdivision is between the two sections I would not be able to quote the exact dimensions of the woofer enclosure.

MAN, is that product database clunky to navigate!

Can't find KSP 400, KSP400, KSP, Ksp, ksp in the general SEARCH field

Ok, go to Product Pages- try the same thing- NOTHING

Finally click on discontinued products, flip through one page at a time (cause they're in no particular order) and on page 4 is KSP400

I'll save you the aggravation, there are some specs there, and it could be reckoned that the subdivider is somewhere between the 15" woofer and the lower 6.5" mid-bass. That should get close. I don't think it's ported in that cabinet. I imagine that T/S could be found somewhere.

What are the chances that you have an orphaned KSW-10 subwoofer kicking around in that attic,  Mr. Colter?

    Sorry for the hijack...

That attic reminds me of an old country song, "it's a 54,55,56,57,58,59 automobile...." about a guy who worked at an auto plant and built a car with years and years of parts he brought home in his lunch box.

Don't anybody take this the wrong way! Micheal didn't bring speakers home in a lunch box.

Depending on whats on the inside of that cabinet I think it's about a 4.5-5 CF.

Michael I think Travis has or had a pair of those speakers he may want them for spares considering there discontinued ?

Well...well...ok. The sand people catched the robots, and drive... and sell 'em in a garage sale - kinda like a garage sale except they're selling robots. And y'know who's gonna buy R2 and the shiny guy? (the shiny guy always worries), Luke's gonna buy those. And Obie Kanobie, is kind of a teacher, he's teaching Luke how learn how to do his little light-up sword. He has to try to block the little pokey ball. He tried to do it without seeing. Obie Kanobie sometimes moves things around, sometimes he disappears. Princess Leia got out of jail and onto the spaceship and they got the big thing that blowed up stuff, and they blowed it up together. It blowed up Princess Leia's planet. But don't talk back to Darth Vader - he'll getcha. It's an exciting movie.
