    Great Deal - LAST CHANCE

I have a great deal for a DIY person.  I am making some other speakers and have no need for the cabinets of the Cornscalas.  These are only a few months old, don't ask why I'm doing this, just some of the crazyness we go through.

I will trade you these wonderful cabinets (very well built) you can follow progress under the Cornscalas Again post in the forum.  What I want to trade for is one box of Fuente Don Carlos #2 cigars, sealed and properly humidified.  The other thing, you have to pick up or arrange a pony express exchange.

This would be a great deal for someone wanting to build their own speakers, just put in them what you want.

Having a problem attaching pictures, got new computer.  If interested email me and I will send pictures with email.

    Re: Great Deal

I kind of thought so, once you consider the 13 ply Baltic Birch, oak bracing, veneer, grill frames and cloth, glue, screws, sand paper, my labor is cheap, but real good

    Re: Great Deal

HMMM... A 9 hour drive for me. Do you have a preferred seller for the cigars?

What horns are the tophats cut for? Is the tophat motorboard easilly replaceable?

    THANX!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand - strawberries with whipped cream in the other hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming YEE-HAW What a Ride!"

    Re: Great Deal

sNo, just so they are new sealed box Fuente Don Carlos #2. The tophats had the Klappenberger Wooden horn, and the tweeter was the Beyma CP25.

Yes the motor board could be changed.  9 hours isn't bad, stay over night and listen to some music, have a cigar and drink some moonshine.

*** straight!  That's only $20/ply (based on JB's link).  Deal indeed!!  They look real nice, I must say.
