    Free space around AVR

    Hi everybody, I'd like to know what kind of space is needed around the AVR so it doesn't get to hot ? Thanks

    I would say a minimum of 2 inches unless you want to use one of these.  These have served me very well for over 4 years with my Onkyo TX-SR705.  I have about 1 inch of clearence on top.

    Thank you for the answer. The fact is that I'm looking for a furniture to put my AVR in and my RC-62 on top. My AVR is 6 inches high and the furniture I found as a 7.75 inches high AVR slot.... There is a lot of free space on the sides, indeed.
