    Emotiva UPA-500

    Seen this yet?  80 watts x 5 (@8ohms)

    Started selling them this month according to the Emotiva Lounge.

    Ha!  Sure it doesn't boast wattage, but for someone curious about changing from an HT receiver to seperates, this is a modest and affordable intro.

    Reading the spec of this, seems like this would be a good amp for Heritage speakers that don't demand a lot of power/current.  The tranformer is only 0.85 kv.  So, this may not be an amp for some of the Reference speakers that demand a little more performance.Hmm

    I wish they had 80 wpc with 4 channels even cheaper Surprise well it is one less channel.

    I could use that for 2 Ch, would be more that twice the wpc I have now.
