    Donald Byrd "Byrd's Eye View"  original Transition LP.

    (this is really a Jazz Messengers LP releases as a Byrd LP--Silver, Blakey, Mobley, Watkins and Byrd).

    Here's the cheapest and quickest way to get these sessions--released on a Blue Note 2-fer CD a couple of years ago-the set puts  together three rare Transition LPs in one package--"Byrd's Eye View," "Byrd Blows on Beacon Hill" and  the Doug Watkins led session "Watkins at Large"(really the best of the lot!):

    That's Ok Allan.   My $12 reissue sounds pretty amazing to me.Wink [;)]  I could buy a LOT of music with that much dough!!!
