I'm trying to figure out which team the Indians are designated "Farm Team" for, Phillies or Yankees. We pumped them both up for the Series.

I went to bed too early for that game.  Unfortunatly the Angels handed the Yankees the next game with some bad baserunning and errors.  Too bad.  I like Mike Scioscia, he is a class act.  I still remember the 1988 Dogers.  The Twins also committed errors against the Yanks.  My hope is the Phils do not and that they can take at least one game in New York.

This is just the icing on the cake of a terrible year for the NY Mets. Not only are the hated Yankees in the World Series, but they play against the defending Champion Philadelphia Phillies. What's a Met fan to do? Besides hang our heads in shame?  Root for the Yankees and their obnoxious fans, or root for the punk Phillies and perhaps the most vile sports fans in the country? I mean really, Philly sports fans threw snow balls at Santa Claus!

I do believe the great WC also said "I once spent a year in Philadephia one night".  At least that's how Joltin Joe remembers it.

I think Utley likes Yankee Stadium.  He now has something in common with Babe Ruth, being the other lefthander to hit two homers in a World Series game.
