If it’s out of reach by the 9th and A-Rod is up I hope they hit him.  I mean not to physically hurt him, just a bruise. I mean he makes more than $50,000.00 per at bat.  For that kinda money I would take a pitch in the shoulder blades and smile.

Pettitte can be had on 3 days rest, his career stats on short rest are: 4-6 W-L & a 4.15 ERA in 14 starts. Taking 2 from the Yanks in the Bronx will be a tall order,though.
