For sale are a pair of Klipsch Forte II's with maple cabinet. They are in exceptional condition. Purchased 15 years ago and barely used. I don't think the Forte' was ever veneered in Maple, the label on the rear of the speaker will give you the veneer type.

F-WO = Forte' Walnut Oil

F-OO = Forte' Oiled Oak

If they are indeed a Maple veneer there will be little or no dark graining to the wood and the label should read F-MO or similar.

$600 is on the high side for Forte's unless they are dead mint with the original cartons.

Your right. I checked the back of the cabinet, and there was the WO. Thank you for the insight. I'll update the listing now. I based the price on what I saw a similar pair sell for on ebay. I think they sold for $620, but were in oak. The Forte' II's that appeared to sell in the $400 to $500 range were in rougher condition. Although a party would have to take my word, these units have basically been sitting idle for 15 years. I bought them from an older individual who I believe was the original owner.

I believe Frzn means over here that is what they sell for...you may sell of course for whatever you wish...if you wish to sell them here...you may find that price a bit high...good luck with your sale.

Thank you to those who gave me advice as I attempted to sell my speakers. The party who bought them was local, is an audio enthusiast, and has been looking for a pair. When he came in he took one look at them and started to get out his wallet. I didn't like parting with them, but glad to see them go to someone who will use them rather than just setting idle for another 15 yrs. in my basement.
