What product is this concerning? Promedia 5.1
Hi i have a promedia 5.1 system that needs repair.
It has been replaced once a few years back for a
defective amp. It has recently started buzzing
loudly and sometimes does not work at all (no
sound from any speakers).
Is the product under warranty? no
Place of purchase? amazon.com
Date of purchase? 2/23/2008 12:00:00 AM
Sales Order Number? [blank]
This message is regarding? iPod & Computer
Speakers
Comments: ..this happens when computer is on or
off (turning comp off does not eliminate buzz),
and the buzzing is also in headphones thru the
klipsch jack but not directly in computer
headphone jack. Sometimes if i turn the system
off and back on there is no sound at all and no
buzzing, but whenever the speakers DO come on
there is buzzing.
I notice from the forums that there are known
issues with the amp.
What are my options for repair?...can i purchase a
replacement amp or Sub/amp combo?
Thanks
