Klipsch Cornwalls

I have a pair of Cornwalls that I purchased in Aug 1982. The serial no.'s are 28W800 and 28W801. The instructions that came with the speakers say Cornwall II, but I got feedback from someone that says the C II's were only produced between 1985 and 1990, so my speakers must be plain Cornwalls. If that's true, why do my instructions say Cornwall II? Thanks

welcome to the forum, i sent you an e-mail on the W meaning they were built in 1981. i don't know why it says 11's on the instructions. in the early years up to 1974 they made vertical cornwalls that they called 11's so they might have paper work left over from then. somebody will chime in with the correct answer.

can you open them from the back or are they "Front Loaded" speakers???...Budman is correct...
