    Right speaker doesn't work!!!!!!!!!

HELP! My right speaker doens't work! I've had these speakers since the end of August 2001 and just a few minutes ago, the right speaker stopped working!

I thought it might be the wiring, so I jiggled the right wire, but that did nothing. Then I put the wire into the left speaker output on the sub and the left speaker wire into the right speaker output. The original right speaker worked, but the left speaker didn't, so I think there's something wrong with the output on the sub.

Can anyone help? Has anyone had this problem?

Try plugging the speakers into another device (anything with a headphone output jack) to make sure it's not a soundcard or software issue.

Send me an email if you continue to have trouble!

I left the speakers off for a few days, then I just now plugged it in into my roommate's computer and both speakers work fine. Then I plugged it back into my computer and they work again. I dunno what's up...but I hope it stays working now.

I have the same problem and I tried your suggestions before reading this post.  I've narrowed the problem to the right speaker output.  Is the entire piece pictured below available for purchase?

I just encountered the same problem on my second set.....Upon inspection two of the power transistors on the output amplifier board with a few diodes and resistors are crispy critters :( anyone know if it possible to aquire a replacement circuit boad as it appears a few traces may have lifted as well. I have already uninstalled the board and am gong to buy the transistors and other components I need at the local electronics dealer....but in the interest of sound quality I'd prefer getting a replacement....anyone have a dead sub that I might be able to salvage the curcuit board?

Bump!  First it was my right channel output and now it appears to be both.  Crackling even if there is no source playing. Correct me if I'm wrong but this wouldn't be a DIN issue.  As for that part above, anybody have any ideas where I could track one down?  Amy?? Thanks!

Same problem here.  First the left speaker began cutting out intermittently, then completely.  Next the right speaker went out.  The sub still booms like a champ but nothing from the satellites.  I have tried all the "fixes" that have been posted and still no go.  I would contact customer service, but what are they going to do for a product that's six months out of warranty?  I have been a loyal Klipsch customer for many years (with a home audio system that rocks my world every day) which is why I decided on the pro media series for my PC - and it has been nothing short of awesome for the last year and a half.  However, I am shocked to read about the problems people suddenly seem to be having (or at least suddenly seem to be reporting).  I understand the "what do you expect for $150" comments on other threads, but what I expect is a little more product stamina from a reputable company like Klipsch.

Understand, I am not attacking anyone (especially the moderator) - I just wanted to throw my "troubled" hat in the ring so that maybe Klipsch will someday take notice and make the appropriate changes for future incarnations of this series.

This isn't exactly the same issue but similar and im  not sure where to post this, but here goes, I have the dim problem, it's been shakey for awhile to where id have to tap it to get it to work. Finally tonight it seperated completely while I moved my stuff, also my sub hasnt been working for awhile, so my question is, might the sub being dead be related to the faulty dim connector? (I had checked the fuse on it when the sub stopped working and it looked ok on eyetest) So im sure Amy the tech support person may know if this is related issue, thanks in advance for any info / advice anybody may have on this, and sorry if im budging in on wrong thread.
