I couldn't find any "buy" word on my screen, you maybe try and tell me again.

    Thanks.

PS. I don't know why this website says "shop online" but doesn't have any button to click for buy, but just find a dealer locatorAngry

I'd like to upgrade my speaker wire as well, but I took a look at that link and I don't understand how those monster cables would work with the Pro Media 2.1.  would I need to make some kind of modification to the speakers?  could you explain how you were planning to connect the cables?

    thanks.

Tak> No idea what you are talking about. See picture below...

Intruder> The pins on the ends of the cable fit inside the spring clips on both the amp and the speaker.

i only have spring clips on the sub unit... my satellites have minijacks.  looking at the product photo, it looks like one end has a miniplug that''ll fit in the minijack... so i should be ok, right?

    thanks.

I'd be skeptical about anything except lowering impedance, by going with a 14 gauge wire or 14-2 twisted pair.  I had a monster cable for SPDIF, darn thing worked for about 1 month, cracked, then I went and bought a $30 cable which has worked like a charm.

yes, i did see the BUY link.  i'm basically having issues with my left satellite speaker.  the sound cuts in and out and it seems to be because of the miniplug.  if i move it around the sound comes back, so i'm guessing the wires inside the housing got frayed or something.  seems like a common issue with these speakers (which otherwise work well).  when i get back from the holidays, i'm going to try plugging the left minijack into the right satellite and the right minijack into the left satellite to see if the problem is in fact with the speaker wire.  if so, i'm gonna get the monster cable set.

    thanks for your help.
