• Re: rf83/63 vs rf7ii

I would agree with that Derrick. I have performed and shared in this forum on two separate occassions some A/B testing I have performed on the RF-83 and RF-7's . They both sound fantastic, they both have different tonal qualities to them. No clear winner in my mind, they just sound different. Smoother midrange and tighter bass in the RF-83, but the RF-7's still rocked it out and were brighter and slightly more detailed. My conclusion was.....I'm keeping both. I think most would be absolutely

  • Re: Preamp Jumpers for Receiver

I had emailed the seller to see if he could locate them. He emailed me back this morning saying he could not find them and refunded me $20. Might as well order a pair instead of using the 3ft generic Walmart RCA cable that I'm using now. I'm sure it won't make a difference in sound, it will just look nicer and tidier (spelling?) with a shorter cable. Not sure yet what I'll do. It's functioning now so I might not do anything. I'm all for Klipsch bringing back the RSW-15, but I can't see myself spending $2000 on a sub.

  • Re: Preamp Jumpers for Receiver
most recievers come with jumpers if they have pre-outs.
Mine was used. No jumpers were included. Is Romex the correct thickness? I have some I could try. Just don't want to short anything out if it's not the correct size.

  • Re: RB 61 II or F20's as Fronts

The RC-61ii and RC-62ii would make a fantastic front stage. I used to own the RB-61....very nice sounding speaker with a surprising amount of bass.
