Sorry to hear Glenn. At least you got some warning. All I heard was a cold 'your services are no longer needed'. I was the first layoff on the first day of cuts. Be well my friend. Perhaps time for some travel? yer buddy, Michael

H P 8 (prima vera finish) s/n 101 (the first made) from the Audio Museum in Hope. I have hundreds of images from the Museum I took Spring 2009 during a personal pilgrimage to Hope. I'll always kick myself for not hooking up a few of the pieces and blowing the dust off of them. Your H R 8 has the same grille as found on the museum's Shorthorn T style (television stand model). Check the Wallpapers section of the Website for photos of early Klipsch grille fabrics. Yours looks totally stock to

Thanks guys. I 'celebrated' by hiring a roofing crew to work on The House of Klipsch today. Much hammering drove me out to the workshop where Yes, Mott, Pumpkins were enjoyed this afternoon. Life is ok today. One year later, here's a shot of the workshop with limestone and paint complete. Great 'hair' photo, yes still got mine and it is 51 this year. JL used my phrase! Hey, keep welcoming the new guys with that if you want and think of me if you'd be so kind. Peace, Michael

Welcome to the Madness! (yeah, I invented that ) 25,000 posts in just under 7 years. That's just under 10 per day average, including the 18 months I spent employed by Klipsch in Technical Support. No uber wise words other than - it's been fun, continue helping each other, and stay in touch. This hobby became an obsession but a good one. Although on board here since Nov 2002, the bug didn't really hit me until I moved back to Indy in Summer 2004 in what is now known as The House of Klipsch

Thanks guys! How about this? Klipsch Employee Logo Shirts! I've been told that I'll have no future use for them so you guys might enjoy them. I have several Klipsch employee dress shirts from my tenue with the company for sale. NEVER WORN- I bought these from the company store in winter 2006 when I was first hired and they didn't fit. Size 2XL but they're more like a men's L/XL. Nice tailoring with KLIPSCH LOGO embroidered in either same or contrasting color on the left side.

who names these bands these days anyway? geesh oh, I get it [Norweigen baker from Sesame Street accent] 'we sound like symphony so we call us 'sonata', and we are from Finland where it's very cold, so 'Arctica'' I guess all the really cool names like Iron Butterfly and Bread were already taken? and someone tell that viking on the left that wearing a t-shirt of your own band = uncool.

Thanks for the report and photos Rich! Yeah, that outfit is ginormous. Reminds me of some of the old Yes rigs (Relayer tour and that era) but far larger and even more menacing. I suppose one of the design ideas was to make everything freestanding so they didn't have to count on any outside support or rigging. The sound system is mammoth and is said to deliver the same high quality sound to every seat in the house 'in the round' no less. U2 have always been masters of staging and production
What does Colter know? It's not like he's heard ALL of them ya know... I'm sure there's at least one pair that he's never heard? Just one???
In all my years of collecting, listening, travelling- I've never spent any time at all in front of a pair of Belle Klipsch. Someone bring a pair over here post haste! M
