I think I can read between the lines of Neo's review here. I happen to dislike the RCA connector design on the BB and I had one break early on. I think this was Mark's way of trying to cut costs on parts that have little or no impact on sound so he could give the best bang for the buck. Still, I would have made sure it was a more rugged. Welcome to the forum. 1980 was a great year for Cornwalls! Update the crossovers. You can get them back to spec or spend some dough and improve the performance. BEC on the forum here will get you back to spec for a very reasonable cost. DeanG's Super B's will improve the performance but you'll have to open your wallet a bit.

I never owned an SVS (heard a few) but I've had a couple RSW12s and now a cherry RSW15. You are certainly correct about placement. It makes a HUGE difference when the sub is in the corner.
