When will the S4i be released?

I own the complete setup and paid ful retail for it. $20K for the 39's. Earlier they were listed at 15K, but there was a price increase just as they were released, to my understanding. IMHO worth every penny! Scott

I've been around the forum for a while, but don't post much, but I do read alot of "The EAR's" posts and know that he has more subs than the law might allow, perhaps he could share some advice and some of his experience with me???

Thanks James. I could try that suggestion, but the location of the rack to the subs would require more attic work than I want right now. But a good thought. It seems that the daisey chained RT's require alot more gain than the Palladiums even though the amps are similar. 200 watts differance, I think. But I'll try that and see if it helps things out. Don't get me wrong, this IS a "good" problem to have, I just want to get the maximum out of my gear, as we all do. Thanks for

Coming out of lurk mode, I have 2 Palladium subs coming off my preamp outs, I have 2 RT-12d that are daisey chained off one of the Palladium. I'm having difficulty adjusting the gain on the rt's. I ran the 2 palladiums through an Audessy room EQ with good results, and now added the 2 RT's but am having trouble blending them in. Does anyone have any expierience with 4 subs? and how have you run them? Thanks...................Scott

Great info! Thanks flaming eye. I had no idea there was so much to know. I feel good about my 4 subs and confirm there locations within my room dimensions. Very interesting read. In the end, it's all about what sounds good to you! Thanks for educating me today. Scott

Greetings, I have 4 subs. 2 Palladium and 2 RW-12d's. The 2 Palladiums come off my pre/pro using a y splitter and work fine. The 2 rw12d's are each slaved off the palladium. All are set at bypass mode, meaning I use the crossover in the pre/pro and all are set at 0 phase and all are set to "flat". The only trouble I had was matching the output of the 2 rw12d's to the palladiums. As soon as I slaved the rw's there output dropped, so I had to drive the amps harder in the slaved

Hi Martin, I've used the audy for two subs. They recommend no room correction on the Klipsch, set it to flat with no crossover if you use the receivers, and phase to 0. Make sure you have the sub's and the other speakers balanced with a SPL meter and then run the audy. Worked great for me. If you use the audy, the Klipsch room correction should not be used. I would think one or the other. I don't like the RC on the Klipsch, but in the end, whatever sounds best to you is optimal. It's

I got mine for around $4k. Don't know how they compare to the subs you mentioned, but compared to the rsw12 and the rt-12d, the palladium is much more musical and alot more powerful. Scott

I'm running a full Paladium line on a full McIntosh system. Not much power is needed to drive these. Normal but loud levels only require about 50-100 watts of power. My mains are driven by 2 MAC-501's. To get the full power rating is VERY LOUD but clean. I run between 40-60% of the power and that is more than enough.
