Damon, I can totally relate. I sold my Parasound Halo C2 pre/pro not too long ago in favor of a Pioneer Elite 84TXSi receiver with HDMI. Looks to me like the high-end SS processors need to get with the times, cause they're losing customers quick.

Hey guys, thanks for the recommendation on Herbie's Way Excellent mat! I've been in the market for one myself (just bought a new Music Hall MMF-9) but didn't think Audioquest's $100 felt mat was anything more than, well, a felt mat with Audioquest's brand on it. Did some research and this mat seems to get unanimous praise from users and critics alike. So I bought one. Can't wait to try it out! Always such good information floating around these here forum walls...

Steve, That's just plain awesome. I'm sure you are your son's hero...if only just for the next day or two... I wish I had a dad who was that cool back in the day.

Hi all, Just thought I'd give a heads-up to the TT I'm selling. It's the Music Hall MMF-5, complete with Pro-ject tonearm, Goldring 1012GZ cartridge (MM), and a Gyger II diamond stylus. I've always been more of a digital freak, so this year-old table has seen relatively little use, though enjoyed meticulous and painstaking care and maintanence. The table retails for $650, but I'm offering her up for $400. The original manual and accessories (minus the felt mat) are all included. For more info: http
