I have done this a few times and as recently as last weekend and I have never had this be an issue. Don't wait. Do it. It is so much fun and your guests will be blown away. I haul the Corns and the H2's and the SVS out in the back yard. I show the movie on a 9 X 5 screen that the original owner of the projector was using in his living room. I play music all day. I was shocked to discover that this is where my stuff sounds the best. The Corns really open up and are able to stretch their legs

I am part of the wave. I was never into vinyl before. I went from 8 tracks to cassettes to CD's. I was even resisting now until a friend of mine gave me a very nice turntable. He was doing the going to estate sales thing and grabbing every classic album he could. This did not appeal to me. However, when I made the recording quality connection and was able to see how I might enjoy albums, I was hooked. I still have made a pledge to not try and get every CD I own on viny, but for new stuff, I love

Dump the entertainment center idea. You will be sick of it in 3-5 years, looking to get rid of it, and guess what, your speakers will still be gone.

I got a nice tabletop unit at Costco for $129. I haven't noticed the noise yet, but the light can be a little annoying if showing something on the projector. Also, you have to get the flavacol salt to make it taste like real popcorn.

Just picked up tickets for The Black Keys at the Metro on 7/31 the night before I will see them at Lollapalooza. I guarantee the show at the little Metro will be better than the next night.

Blind Melon-no, the singer is dead. Dokken-maybe, they were technically my first live band ever because they opened for Judas Priest circa 1984.

Who cares? If the masses can support the speaker company we love so that they can remain a viable entity and keep making the products we enjoy, I am all for it. I say put em on every corner. Also, upgradeitus is a real disease. Maybe it will strike and inspire a few of the masses to go up the food chain, or not, but once again, who cares?
I have a completely empty cabinet in the bottom of my entertainment center that will hold a Heresy
That will be a nice set up.

At $1400, I wouldn't bother.

Cheers Aurora. Stan Makita's donuts are my favorite. I bet you have never heard that one before. You don't need to do anything to "make" it a better center. They are perfect just as they are. A killer HT system would be 5 Heresy's and a good sub. You will want to stick with the Heresy 1 line for an exact match. I am unsure of the years of production, but it is in here somewhere.
