I own RF-83's - the "top" of the reference line. They are awesome but they cost a bundle. I picked up some used Heresy II's off of craigslist, and WOW do they have a beautiful mid-range! If you want great and affordable sound (I got the slightly banged up Heresy's for $200), used Heritage is definitely the way to go.

Should be arriving tomorrow - its shipping fedex ground. I wish I knew when they are planning to be at my house, I won't get home from work until 4-4:30...

Glad you're still happy with it. I realize in your situation you don't have a lot space to play with positioning... I don't suppose you have a chart for the frequency response in your room do you?

Wow - I guess I got caught up in life and forgot about these for a while. Playing them now and... djk - you're right on the ball - both tweeters are blown. I stuffed a sock in the mids and heard nothing from the tweets. Marshall - thanks - I'm reading through that post now!

Ok, so just in case it was a crossover issue or whatnot, I tried the tweeters on a working Heresy II crossover and got no sound... Do I need new tweeters or just new diaphragms?

Yes, dual 15's, sealed, 1000 watt ICE amp. I think it will be arriving next week, I'll put pics up shortly after receiving.
