I haven't heard the RF-63's, but I have the RF-62's and they really opened up in the bass department when I added separate amps. I actually couldn't believe the amount of bass they put out with the 4 - 6.5" drivers.

I have two RW-12d's and I don't have any complaints. I got both of them for the total of $650, and I can use two of them to help smooth the curve through the room. At retail price, they're not worth it, however, at $300 - $350, I'd say they are definitely worth it. I haven't heard any port chuffing, but if there is some, it's being masked by all the other sound coming out in the room :) With a minimal pirce diference of $150, I'd be inclined to get the Reference series

If you mount it upside down, you'll still have the same problem. :)

Both new. The first one was purchased through a friend that had a part time job at Ultimate Electronics (got my RF-62's for $400/pair and RC-62 for $250 through him at the same time). The second one was purchased throug Ebay when they were giving something like 30% back.

I wouldn't put a 20 amp circuit in without running 12AWG. I may just run a second set of wires to the outlet boxes that are 12AWG so I can swap those in later if needed. After the outlets, there are only 2 lights on the circuit, so would I need to continue with 12AWG the rest of the way? My other thought was to run the 12AWG to those outlets, yet still put a 15 amp circuit and see how it goes.... I guess I can test the subs on one circuit in the house now and know for sure :)

Howdy, I am currently insulating my theater and before drywall goes up, I just want to make sure I'd be alright with two RW-12d subs on 1 15-amp circuit. For the most part, these will be the only two things on this circuit aside from some closet lights. There is another outlet on the circuit, but it's mainly there for code. In the picture, on the front wall, the two lower boxes are where the subs will plug in and all the way to the left, you'll see the breaker box. It is a fairly short
for displacement" is a term used in the auto engine world. In terms of useable, reliable power the bigger the better when it comes to engine displacement. The same holds true for speakers. You just can't scale down all the components of a speaker and expect to get the same sound.
Pffff.... You just need some boost :)

Here's one... But it's not a "Buy it Now'. If you keep your eyes peeled, they'll show up for about this price for BIN http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-Reference-RB-51-RB51-Pair-of-Black-Speakers_W0QQitemZ200335627045QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSpeakers_Subwoofers?hash=item200335627045&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1546%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

I went to UoP for my BSIT. I haven't had any job turn me down yet, so they must be worth something. Would I go back to UoP, probably not. They've sucked money out of me on top of what I paid for classes and their recruiters are just that. My wife is going back to school for her Masters Degree, but will not attend UoP. She got her Bachelor degree before starting the 'work force', which I did not (which works better for me as I had no clue what I wanted to do... still don't!)

My personal suggestion would be to go with the Sub12 or the RW-12d if you're looking to stay with Klipsch. You can find them for cheap if you look around. Otherwise, if you want a really good sub for the money, go with an Internet Direct company.
