It was 1974, Wauwatosa,Wis. just married and we were looking to out do a buddy's JBL, Crown system. Listened to alot of different set-ups, then, the wife said (at that time) to the salesman "got anything better" (yes! I'm a happy camper now). CLEAN POWER!...They all are good to my ears. But thats just me. Have had klf, rf, kg and other makes (non Klipsch). All in home demos, most of my kids stuff comes from that. That said......1st. Heritage.....2nd either.....Forte and or Chorus (II) with upgrades and the time to sit back and Enjoy!

Looks real good. I have become fond of the folded hand towel under the fronts to slighty raise them. Seems to define the sweet spot in different room areas and or placements. So many litte tweaks make a large difference. Enjoy!

Ran a 7070, long time-ago, sound was really good on the twins at lower or moderate levels. IMHO, most vintage stuff will work great with Klispch. Sansui, HK, Marantz, all good in my book. However and to my ears, HK and Marantz then Sansui. Still have many (given to our kids) all up and run-in pushing Heresy's Enjoy!
