I don't know about you guys, but bi-wiring made a big difference, I have bi-wired my RF82's with my Outlaw 7x200 watt amp and Integra DTC 9.8 Pre Pro, and the mids get their own 200 watt amp and so do the highs on the front two RF82's, and the same will be done when my new RF83's come thru my door this comming Tuesday, can't wait . to hook up those babies. , anyone interested in a pair of RF82's and RC-35 Center.

  • Re: Are the Integra DTC 9.8 and Onkyo Pro PR-SC885P functionally identical?

The integra has better quality components than the Onkyo, and you can only purchase it from an authorized Integra dealer, no online sales on Integra units, matter of fact I should be receiving mine in about 3 to 4 weeks.

  • Re: Best Picture Quality, Best Service: Directv or Dishnetwork?

At the moment I have Dishnetwork, switched from Time Warner Cable after 15 years with them, it was the best thing I ever did for my HDTV, you can not beat Dishes HD lineup, and the picture is great, you can try them out for the first month, if you are not happy just cancel, I own the platinum package which includes all the HD channels and all the SD channels, it's thei top package, plus you get $10 off ech month for the first 10 month "promotional thing", I am more than happy, that's me.

  • Re: Need an amp and sub recommendation

PiperG: Hey cybertec, How you like that sub? That was the one I had my eye on. SVS has alot of positive talk. And yes, I'm eyeing the outlaws, cuz they seem to be a little cheaper. the sub is fantastic, the Outlaw and SVS with Klipsch make a great match, you can't go wrong, I am in sonic bliss, and I am sure you will be also.

  • Re: Need an amp and sub recommendation

PiperG: As far as subs go, i want to stay around 1000. I've been looking into the svs line, and haven't really found any bad comments about them. At my local ultimate elec. they have a dedicated klipsch room, with 7's all the way around, and holy crap i've never heard music so loud, yet so clean and awesome. The setup had two monsterpower amps running the front, and not so sure about the rears. That's why I was asking about these monster amps. Not too much of a track record on these? Maybe outlaw

  • Re: Suggestions for "musical" sub $1000-$1200?

have you ever sat down and listened to a SVS PB2/+2 with music and movies, apparently you have not, please keep those smug comments to yourself next time, I did not say anything in my post about my sub beign the best in the world, I am sure there are many other better subs out there, but you have to pay an arm and a leg for them, for the money NOTHING comes close to SVS.

The Sub I use is in my signature below, it is one earth shaking beast, it is great for music and movies, the bass is as tight "not boomy" and powerful as it can get, it has adjustments from 25hz,20hz, to 16hz, for the money nothing comes close to SVS.
