A little elf tipped me off about getting a set of Grado RS2s for xmas, and as a winter project I'd like to build a decent tube or tube-hybrid headphone amplifier. Any recommendations? Sorry I let the ball drop here - I started my new job and it's been a real whirlwind. The previous director was relieved of duty so there were tons of fires to put out. I can't even remember what the finish is on the Cornwall II - I'll go home tonight and get the specs and take pictures. I just scored a tasty Director's position at a museum, and my new office is HUGE. 23x30' huge. I've normally kept my music listening as a home activity with the Khorns and Dynaco ST-70 but I think I need some tube warmth at work as well. Last year I purchased a wonderful pair of '69 Klipschorn WO along with a tasty Marantz Model 15 and a single Cornwall II for a center channel. The receiver/preamp were long gone by the time I got there. Anywho - I have a Cornwall II that I can't use as a center channel due to space limitations. I'd like to obtain a single Cornwall II [Or Cornwall I] for my "master bedroom system". If anyone has a singe, or even a pair with one that has been damaged, please let me know.
