Look at how brittle car parts get ( dash parts, door panels ) tabs break off when you try to remove them Vinyl siding gets brittle in a short time.

I have a question... Why do we need to use such expensive caps in a crossover ? The signal level is pretty high, lots of amps and volts. While in the signal path before all this the manufacturer uses ordinary products.If the less expensive caps work with low level signals why would the smae price level work at the outputs ?

Could you elaborate ( or have the owner chime in ) on the EV drivers and passives please. Which EV drivers ? Was the passive modified from Roy's original design ... if so how ? We could speculate all day but it would be great to hear it from the "horse's mouth" They are impresive ... One more question.... what was the approximate room size and any room treatments ?
