I actually don't think that those are too bad. A full rebuild from a reputable tech will probably run $250 to $350. $599 for a 299 in excellent cosmetic condition, fully rebuilt with premium tubes is worth every penny, imo. I am sure you can find one a little less expensive rebuilt but it will be with a tradeoff on cosmetic condition or the quality of tubes. I highly recommend a rebuilt Scott Integrated. If you find an older unit, look to Craig at NOS Valves to rebuild it. He rebuilt a 222 and
