  • Re: 2 Sub-10's vs. 1 Sub-12 ???

for good sounding base use only one sub. i have nighmares getting my dual subs to sound right. they seem to always sound better when the polaritys are opposite.. that doenst make sense to me but it works. one sub will lessen the muddy effect as well

Honestly, I think i had a different experience with the harmony. I didn't really like it. I was expecting a Crestron (ms?) i guess. I also have components in various places in my room. Using the computer the set it up did not come about easily for me either. it didnt have a couple of my main components. My H/K receiver requires alot of settings (especially if the power goes out, resets to default) and the harmony woudlnt do any of it. At least not simply. Perhaps theyve upgraded them since i

  • Re: Klipsch Lifestyle System?

Im sorry, I have to bring up snob appeal here. Im not happy that Klipsch is competing with Bose, Polk, JBL etc. In my opinion, ever since ohhh around 2000 about when the quintets came out, Klipsch held thier branding in very high regard. If you owned a set of Klipsches then half the people havent even heard of them, and those who had heard of them were envious. That's something that each of us (especially men) value alot. The "my toys are cooler and more exclusive than yours" kinda

  • Re: Bose 901

im glad i posted this thread because its very entertaining because so many of my friends believe the commercials and agree that bose is really the premier loudspeaker. I mean they have to be great because they heard a Cadilac with a bose system one time and were surprised... by something, idk what. anyway for those who are mad that I posted this on the klipsch website, you really didnt have to read it or post on it, and it is directly related to Klipsch. The purpose is not to bash bose, as fun as

yep very true but a serated knife is very difficult to sharpen.. and this will certainly require numerous sharpenings or at least rubbing the blade on the steel rod that supposidely realigns the molecules or something. sure seems to sharpen my knife

Well I began cutting yesterday. I started with a table saw. WOOOWWW you BETTER wwear glasses and cover your face. I had a towel wrapped around my face, classes and long sleeves on. that rockwool slings crap everywhere. well i decided to try another method. went to my kitchen, sharpened my largest knife and it cut like butter! i could cut about 2.5 pieces at a time so it went super fast, easy on the arms, much less mess. accuracy is as good as you wanna make it but really, who cares, its all gonna

Yeah and these traps are going to be huge too. I hope I can get enough to tame the really low frequencies the way i want them. it seems like the lower my speakers go, the more the problem is noticable. however, thats not confirmed without measurements. can I get the radio shack spl meter to hook into my computer and out put a graph or frequencies? i dont understand what the number dial means on those units. oh well guess ill figure it all out. and im charging the camera now. the rockwool plant was
