This is great! You can count me in as well Amy. I am interested in hearing Cornwall III and LaScala II in either the big green main listening room or even the conference room upstairs. I heard them in the dark heritage theater room but couldn't evaluate the sound because the room was so soft. Like last time we had the 3 channel heritage demo upstairs, I'd like to see a Cornwall III and LaScala II comparison up there. I have cornwall II's and LaScala I's and need to know which direction

I'm with Songer 100% on this (from the first page of posts). Unacceptable. Now or in 2003. Women start trying to change men to this extreme and both lives are ruined. Not that he shouldn't be helping out in the marriage but to take away something that important to him is just stupid. I wish I handn't read this post, what a drag.

Mark, For your consideration: The top of the line Denon Preamp/processor would allow you to process your inputs, including the HDMI high def DD and DTS formats and use your own Macintosh or other discrete amps. Upscale Denon receivers and pre/procs have the capability to run a 2 chan and surround system with different or same fronts. I'm using my 4806 to run Cornwall II fronts for 2 chan and RF-63/RC-64 etc as the surround system. I love the clean sound of Denon and would consider it complimentarily

Best of luck in finding the right person to enjoy oldbucksters speakers as much as he did. Youthman has it nailed above, getting the pic down to 100 kB or less can be done with minimal loss of detail for a small image such as is needed in this case. Kimball

Trey, Summer is most likely to get the most turnout, June, July, August. Hope, AR weekend of June 22-23? I haven't been to Klipsch in Hope yet, so I'm pumped to have it there. Kimball

How good is the good condition? Are there scratches, dents, any holes or wear on the woofers/passive radiators on the back? what is the finish on the chorus IIs, if you don't know, the model numbers and serial numbers should tell alot to us. Chorus II that I've seen generally run from $600 to $900 depending on condition and finish. Others on the forum might have other opinions. I don't know working prices for the other ones you listed.

Oldbuckster, keep a positive attitude and look forward to a return to good health. That's an important part of getting well. Know that you've touched many lives in many ways on this forum. You're a good man, hang in there. Kimball

What year are the speakers? If you don't know, if you can provide the serial number we can tell you what year they were built. The reason I ask is that if they're over 15 years old or so, there can be great improvements in sound quality by replacing the capacitors in the crossovers. This would be anywhere from $50 on up depending on what you would choose, but the gains I've seen in sound qualtiy on my cornwalls and heresies are amazing. I bought and built a kit version of ALK universal

Sony Playstation 3 is far and away the best performing Blu-ray player in terms of speed of operation. Full profile 2.0 capabilities, and full compatibility with high def formats. Very recommended.
