  • New sats for computer room, maybe.

Hello everyone, I am thinking about getting 2 RSX 5s and 2 RSX 4s with a RCX 4 for my computer room, 12 x 10 feet. A local Klipsch dealer has the used set for $650. They retail for $950. I just got a Sony KDL 40XBR3 and I am dying to get some good speakers. They are silver and I prefer black. I also would prefer 4 of the RSX 5s rather than two. Beggars can't be choosers. What do you think? I know they would sound good, so I wonder why I am asking you. Approval, I guess. The devil is in one ear and

  • TV with coneheads

Hi everyone, I have a 10 year old Panasonic 27" XF Series tv in the bedroom. When first turned on the images are elongated (cone-headed people), like being in front of a circus mirror. After a 30 minute warm-up period the picture is good. Any suggestions as to what has gone weak? Would it be expensive to repair? Thanks, ish

  • Re: Denon 2803 w/RF-7's ???

I am unsure of the value of the auto eq feature. I have the 3805 which did not come with the mic. From what I understand the 2805 comes with one. To save some greenbacks, go with the 2803 and set it up with your ears or an decible meter. I think you will enjoy the Denon vs others. It is just a mater of taste and expense. Wish I had the RF7s. Enjoy.

  • Protection for my Reference Series ( no not condoms)

Hi Everyone, How is the best way to protect the finish on my speakers? I have the black ones and I forget what type of wood they are. I was thinking a paste wax would do. Thanks in advance

Hey BBB, It is the Tingler. Scared the hell out of me as a kid. At least he wasn't playing with his, like Pee Wee was. Loved Vincent Price movies. The Pit and the Pendulem, Cry of the Banshee. Ish

I think it is the CL rating that determines suitablility for in-wall installs. Look for CL3?

Maybe it is best Tweeter lost the Klipsch line, as it appears they often are inept at their trade.

  • Re: cd-i?

I am not a game player. Short attention span I guess. It is a shame that Philips promoted this platform as a game machine and not as a learning tool. Playstation and Nintendo was coming out about that time and CD-i could not compete. CD-i also had mpeg 1 capability, and I remember watching movies on a cd long before DVD became mainstream. It was neat! I am very fond of some of the art titles. Art of the Czars, The Renaissance of Florence, French Impressionism, Van Gogh. Bunches of art and alot of
