I did a little research on this amp and the consensus seems to be that the build quality is about what you'd expect for that price point. You have to realize that at that price there isn't going to be any warranty to speak of. i do have 2 Yaqin tube buffers that I paid less than $100 each used and they seem to be pretty good quality. I just picked up a Sophia Baby integrated tube amp for $325 shipped and PP'd from Audio Asylum-great reviews and I was blown away with the soundstage and tonality. There are usually a couple on Audiogon and for the money!!!!! I've tried mine with both Chorus II's and LaScalas and I'm impressed with the little sucker!
