  • WTB: Quicksilver mini mites

I've been looking on this forum, audiogon, audio advisor, emotiva's forum and even ebay, for about 2 weeks and I haven't seen a pair mini mites come up for sale. If anybody has some, or knows somebody who does and is willing to part with them, please direct them to this interested buyer. It doesn't necessarily have to be the mini mites, but they have a good rep for what I'm looking for. Which is a self biasing tube amp that puts out about 25W/channel for a budget minded person

    Would upgrading the crossover help?

Oops, sorry about the double post. Itchy trigger finger I guess.

  • WTB: RF-7s w/DeanG crossover

Black prefered, cherry o.k, maple...I'd probably paint I will need the grills but I have the item number and price from Klipsch if I need to order some new ones. If the dust covers are damage, I'd only be interested if it was minimal. Cabinet scratches, or gouges are fine. Faded, chipped, flawed finish is fine. Structural cabinet damage, like a smashed corner, is not ok. I'm having a difficult time finding speakers that match this criteria and I could use some help. Please post here,

  • Re: CL: RF7's on the Cheap

I'm a little confused by this post. Are you saying a couple of years ago, RF-7s went for 1200 + 50 for shipping. That's amazing to me since I offered $1250 including shipping on 2 different sets and didn't get either. Both those sets did have upgraded DeanG crossovers though. I guess that makes the difference. I'm still looking if anyone has some in Black or Cherry w/DeanG X overs and grills fully intact, please let me know.

I really hope it's over tonight. Being a Wings fan, I don't want to see them fight through another long series prior to the finals.

  • Re: Tube Pre vs tube amp

Also, Is biasing ever required on tube preamps, or just tube amps?

Nope. I'm from Michigan's Upper Penninsula. I don't think I have any family in Arkansas. Are you sure it's spelled the same. I've seen it at Thibault and Thibeault.
