Hi! The Cornscala II's are my listing. Sorry I didn't post 'em here, too, but I've been finishing up another project on my LSI's. If a forum member is interested, I'll sell them for the $800 opening bid and cancel the listing. I seem to have stirred up some excitement on ebay - 230+ hits and 22 watchers in one day! I can be reached @ 682-557-4263. My wife saw a pic of Belles, whic will not fit in the den or budget. LSI project below.

My wife says my LSI's are ugly and don't match the den, but Belles would be nice. I can neither find nor afford Belles, so...

Hi! I just got done with a LSI project to make my wife happy. I posted a pic on the Modification forum. If you like the concept and can't fi (nd a Belle, but come across an ugly LS, maybe I can teach it up for you. My local hardwood wholesaler has most everything, so matching your Khorns (wood-wise) is probably doable. Logisitics would be a problem, but my daughter went to Tulane, which gave us four (very costly) years of good times in your city. If you can deal with the logistics and buy the

Well, the Chi-coms have gotten my attention again! I love my little LePai 2020 t-amp, and while I was looking for a second for the upcoming cornscalas ( bought the oak for the cabinets today), I saw a thing called a "class A valve buffer". Actually there are three - a class A, $69.00, a $49.00 that is slightly different, and a $44.00 one that seems just like the $49 one in a different case. They all have o single tube sticking up in the middle, and are supposed to go inline amp/preamp or

I am gearing up to build a set of Cornscalas, and have to get new crossovers. I just got the Klipsch AA set that Bob Crites rebuilt, and haven't even used them other than to test the new diaphragms. What would be a fair price for these? Does anybody have a good set of xovers that would work in the cornscala( I think the Cornwall type b )? I hate to hassle w/ebay! I'm going to wrap them up & repack 'em today.

Ok, I just finished loading two of my LSI's into the new owner's truck, and I'm trying to make a decision before this money starts a fire in my wallet. What i really want is Khorns, but I have no available corners other than the one my wife would chase me into to beay me to death if I suggest tearing out the brich hearth or moving the steps to the den to build a wall. I have two possibilities - 1. Overhaul the other pair of LSI, make them oak and use them, as all the parts are new, including

Does anyone know what years the K-55m midrange and square magnet K-77's were used in lascalas?

I'm in Arlington. I'll be away from the computer for a few days, but you can reach me @ 682-557-4263.

The photo really looks bad, but the paint is new. I tried to remove the trim(gently) but the factory "screwed & glued" it on with great sincerity. I used Rustoleum "Hammered" finish gloss black. They actually look kind of cool in a sinister sort of way. The paint could indeed be removed, however. As a woodworker, I I were going to refinish this thing ( and didn't have 3 others that are black w/ rounded corners, photo of one attached), I'd veneer it. I took off one

Not long ago, I picked up a pair of Lascalas from Cornman for $400. I had the midrange drivers'(K-55M's) diaphragms replaced by Bob Crites and also got a set of Klipsch AA crossovers that he completely rebuilt for me to replace the AL's. I installed them yesterday. I have switched my system from 5.1 to 3.1 with three Lascalas in front, which leaves me with an extra speaker. The cost of the upgrades/service was about $400.00. I have listed the remaining LSI on craigslist for $450, but
