  • Re: Use Klipsch 4.1 Speakers for Home Theater

No the speakers are great to use as a different setup. This is why I went with these vs. Logitechs. Anyways you will be fine.

from that picture, it looks like the control pod is what you would have to use. Go from your subwoofer output from your reciever and hook that up to the control pod which connects to the sub. The line out from the sub is used for outgoing signals not incoming so you might have some problems there. Anyways, try using your control pod to hook the two up and let me know what happens.
  • Re: 5.1 Promedia problem

The problem probably has something to do with your amplifier. If you have the tech knowledge then you should be able to open it up and see what is wrong. I had one, and my problem was a couple of burnt reisitors. If you have the tools it is very cheap to fix but if you get it done from someplace they charge a good amount of money for it.If you have a reciever then you can hook up the speakers to the reciever to make sure the speakers work. They most likely do.

yeah that should work, do you have a picture of the back of your sub you can post?
  • Promedia 2.1 Amp

I bought a 2 year old system off of someone for $50 and everything was working. A couple days later, I hooked it up and the left speaker didnt work, I suspected wiring so I switched the wires and checked and now neither speaker works. Looking at a couple of options I opened the sub and found a blown fuse. After replacing that I looked at the boards that supply power to my speaker and this is what I saw: http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j148/Triggerhappy_111/?action=view&current=P6090256.jpg
